The active ingredient, chlorhexidine gluconate (4%), binds to the outer layer of the skin to form a persistent antimicrobial barrier.
This barrier continues to kill and inhibit the growth of harmful microorganisms for several hours after application – even after rinsing.

Suitable for:

Do not use:
If you are allergic to chlorhexidine or any other ingredients
On open wounds, mucous membranes, or broken skin
In the ear or eyes – rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs

For surgical hand disinfection:
Wet hands and forearms with warm water.
Apply approximately 5 ml of Hydrex Surgical Scrub to hands and forearms.
Wash thoroughly for at least 2 minutes, paying attention to nails and between fingers.
Rinse off completely and dry with a sterile towel.
For pre-operative body washing:
Wet skin and apply directly or with a disposable sponge.
Wash entire body, focusing on surgical site areas.
Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean towel.
