Paracetamol reduces pain and fever by blocking pain-signalling chemicals (prostaglandins).
Phenylephrine hydrochloride constricts swollen nasal blood vessels, easing congestion and sinus pressure.
Caffeine in the day capsules acts as a mild stimulant, counteracting drowsiness and improving alertness.
Together, they provide 24-hour symptom control – keeping you clear, comfortable, and rested.
Suitable for: Adults and children aged 16 years and over.
Do NOT take if you:
Are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine, caffeine, or any capsule ingredients
Are taking or have taken MAOIs (antidepressants) in the last 14 days
Have heart disease, high blood pressure, circulatory disorders, or overactive thyroid
Have severe liver, kidney, or stomach ulcer problems
Have a history of ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding
Speak to your doctor before taking if you:
Have diabetes, liver/kidney problems, or blood circulation disorders
Regularly consume alcohol
Take medicines for blood pressure, depression, or blood thinning

Instructions:
Swallow capsules whole with water.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not exceed 8 capsules in 24 hours.
Do not take with other paracetamol-containing medicines.

Maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, talc, and capsule shells made from gelatine and colourings (E104, E171, E131, E127 for day capsules; E171, E127, E132 for night capsules).
Like all medicines, Sudafed Mucus Relief Day & Night Capsules can cause side effects, but not everyone gets them.
Stop taking and seek immediate medical help if you experience:
Allergic reaction: rash, itching, swelling of the face/throat, difficulty breathing
High blood pressure: headache, vomiting, palpitations
Irregular or rapid heartbeat
Unexplained bruising, fever, sore throat, or infections
Severe skin reaction: redness, blistering, or peeling
Jaundice (yellowing of skin/eyes)
Other possible effects:
Nausea or upset stomach
Difficulty sleeping (common with caffeine)
Tingling or cool sensation in the skin
Very rare: Serious skin reactions (report via the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme).
Contains paracetamol: do not combine with any other paracetamol-based products.
Avoid caffeine-containing drinks (coffee, tea, energy drinks) while taking this medicine.
Do not exceed the recommended dose — overdose can cause liver damage.
Avoid use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor.
Not suitable for children under 16 years.
