Each active ingredient in Lemsip Max All In One Liquid Syrup targets specific cold and flu symptoms:
Paracetamol (1000mg) – A powerful pain reliever and fever reducer that helps ease headache, muscle pain, and sore throat discomfort.
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (12.18mg) – A decongestant that reduces swelling in nasal passages, making it easier to breathe.
Guaifenesin (200mg) – An expectorant that loosens and thins mucus, helping clear chest congestion and soothe deep, chesty coughs.
Cetylpyridinium Chloride (3.0mg) – An antiseptic that helps ease throat soreness and prevent infection.
Together, these ingredients provide all-in-one relief from cold and flu symptoms, helping you recover faster and rest more comfortably.
Do not take Lemsip Max All In One Liquid Syrup if you:
Are allergic to any of the ingredients listed
Have a serious heart condition or high blood pressure
Have an overactive thyroid or enlarged prostate
Are taking or have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) within the last 14 days
Are taking other decongestants or paracetamol-containing medicines
Are under 16 years of age
Speak to your GP or pharmacist before use if:
You are pregnant or breastfeeding
You have liver or kidney problems
You are on other prescription medicines
Always read the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) before use.
For oral use only.
Recommended Dose:
Adults and children aged 16 years and over:
Take 10-20ml every 4 hours, up to 4 times per day.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not exceed 4 doses (80ml) in 24 hours.
Instructions:
Shake bottle well before use.
Use the supplied measuring cup for accurate dosing.
Wipe bottle neck clean and replace cap securely after each use.
Rinse measuring cup thoroughly.
If symptoms persist after 3 days, or worsen, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
To support your recovery while taking this medicine:
Get plenty of rest
Drink lots of fluids to stay hydrated
Avoid smoking and dusty environments
Use steam inhalation or humidifiers to ease congestion
Seek medical advice if you experience:
A cough lasting more than 3 weeks
Chest pain, breathlessness, or high fever
Unexplained weight loss or persistent fatigue

Like all medicines, Lemsip Max All In One can cause side effects, though not everyone will experience them.
Stop using and seek immediate medical attention if you experience:
Signs of an allergic reaction (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)
Skin rash or peeling
Unexplained bruising or bleeding
Persistent nausea, yellowing of the eyes/skin, or dark urine (possible liver problems)
Other mild effects may include:
Headache, nervousness, or trouble sleeping
Nausea or upset stomach
Can I take Lemsip Max All In One with other paracetamol products?
No – do not take with any other medicines containing paracetamol to avoid overdose.
How long can I take Lemsip Max All In One Liquid for?
It is intended for short-term use only (up to 3 days) unless advised otherwise by a doctor.
Can I drive after taking Lemsip Max All In One Liquid?
It does not usually cause drowsiness, but if you feel lightheaded or dizzy, avoid driving.
Is Lemsip Max All In One Liquid suitable for diabetics?
This product contains maltitol and sorbitol, which may affect blood sugar levels. Speak to your GP before use.
