Iron is essential for producing haemoglobin – the part of red blood cells that carries oxygen around the body. When iron levels are low, the body cannot produce enough healthy red blood cells.
These tablets help restore iron levels when dietary intake alone is insufficient or when iron needs are increased.
Iron deficiency occurs when the body does not have enough iron to produce normal red blood cells.
