Dentinox Cradle Cap Shampoo is a gentle medicated shampoo specially designed for the treatment of cradle cap in babies. It contains two active cleansing surfactants – sodium lauryl ether sulfo-succinate and sodium lauryl ether sulphate – which work to effectively soften, lift and remove the greasy, yellowish flakes associated with cradle cap.
This baby cradle cap treatment shampoo is suitable to use from birth and can also be used for general care of your baby’s scalp and hair, leaving it clean and fresh.
Cradle cap (infantile seborrhoeic dermatitis) is a harmless and very common skin condition in babies. It usually appears within the first few months of life and often clears on its own within weeks or months. Signs of cradle cap include:
Greasy, yellow, or brown crusts on the scalp
Flaky patches that may make the skin look red once they fall off
Sometimes spreading to other areas such as the eyebrows, nose, behind the ears, or nappy area

Wet your baby’s hair and scalp with warm water.
Apply a small amount of Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo and gently massage into the scalp.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water, avoiding the eyes.
Use at every bath time until the cradle cap has cleared.
If irritation, redness, or signs of sensitivity occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
Do not use Dentinox Cradle Cap Shampoo if:
Your baby is allergic to any of the ingredients (including sodium lauryl ether sulfo-succinate or sodium lauryl ether sulphate).
The scalp skin is broken, blistered, or infected.
Your baby has eczema, severe dryness, or cracking on the scalp.
Special care:
Avoid contact with eyes.
Perform a patch test 24 hours before first use.
Do not use other shampoos at the same time, as this may increase dryness.
